An Argentine waste recycling company has confirmed an order for a 3TPD new-style waste oil refining machine from DOING ECO, adding waste oil processing to its existing recycling business. The customer confirmed the order on September 15, 2026, following several months of technical discussions and supplier evaluation.

Building More Value from Locally Available Waste

The customer is already engaged in the waste recycling business in Argentina. Its existing business gives the company access to waste materials collected and purchased from the local market. The next question was how to make greater commercial use of these materials. Rather than relying only on the value of collected waste, the customer began considering further processing as a way to expand its business model.

Waste oil was selected as one of the first materials for this approach.

Why a 3TPD Unit Was Selected

The 3TPD new-style waste oil refining machine was selected as the first step in this expansion. Rather than immediately building a larger multi-feedstock processing system, the customer plans to establish waste oil refining within its existing recycling operation. This gives the company a focused starting point for developing experience with the refining process while maintaining a clear connection with its existing waste collection business. The equipment will initially process waste oil purchased through the customer’s waste recycling activities.

Technical Design Remained Important

Although the project is driven by a broader business expansion plan, the customer also paid close attention to the refining technology. DOING ECO proposed a solid-catalyst refining configuration for the 3TPD equipment.The waste oil is heated to generate oil vapor. The vapor then enters the catalytic section for further treatment before subsequent fractionation and condensation. Unlike an acid-alkali washing route, the selected process does not use acid and caustic soda as part of the refining stage. Therefore, it avoids the corresponding acid-alkali wastewater generated by that treatment method.The customer considered the process design suitable for its planned waste oil processing operation.

Supplier Evaluation Took Place Alongside Technical Discussions

The customer did not make the decision based on the equipment configuration alone. During the project, the customer also reviewed DOING ECO’s company information, product range, and manufacturing capability. The customer learned that DOING ECO has been manufacturing pyrolysis and refining equipment since 2011 — over 15 years of practical experience — and holds 50+ patents addressing key technical challenges in the field. The company runs a 40,000+ sqm self-owned factory in Jiaozuo, Henan, employing 270 people across production, engineering, and quality control, with in-house CNC plasma cutting, CNC milling, automatic welding, and argon arc welding capabilities.

Other suppliers were also considered. After comparing the available technical solutions and researching the manufacturer, the customer decided to work with DOING ECO. A Broader Waste Processing Plan

The current order is focused on waste oil refining, but the customer’s business development plans are broader. After learning more about DOING ECO’s equipment range, the customer also became interested in pyrolysis technology for waste cable plastics. The potential future application could involve processing cable-derived plastic into oil. This is only a future consideration at this stage and is not included in the current 3TPD refining equipment order. The immediate priority is to put the waste oil refining unit into operation and develop the first processing line within the customer’s existing recycling business.

For related applications, pyrolysis equipment can be configured for different waste feedstocks and project capacities.

From April Inquiry to September Order

The project began with an inquiry received through the DOING ECO Alibaba channel on April 15, 2026. Over the following months, the customer discussed the technical solution and evaluated the manufacturer alongside other suppliers. The 3TPD waste oil refining equipment order was confirmed on September 15, 2026.

The equipment has now entered production at DOING ECO. Once completed, the 3TPD unit will be shipped to Argentina for waste oil refining. For the customer, this project creates a new processing link within its existing waste recycling business: purchasing waste materials locally and processing them further before further use or sale of the refined products. Future applications, including cable plastic pyrolysis, can then be evaluated as the business expands.
