|---|---|
fully continuous tyre pyrolysis plant (DY-C-50) | Main line, with a weighing belt conveyor at the feed end; all motors variable-frequency explosion-proof |
Heavy oil burner, 400,000 kcal | Heats the reactor to operating temperature at start-up |
Slag discharge screw with water jacket, 7.5 m | Continuous carbon black discharge |
Deodorization device | Purifies tail gas before the syngas returns to the furnace |
SCR denitration system | Reduces nitrogen oxides in the flue gas |
Air-cooled cooling box | Lowers flue gas temperature ahead of the treatment chain |
FRP desulfurization tower | Removes sulfur compounds from flue gas |
Wet electrostatic precipitator | Final stage catching fine dust and acid mist |
Rubber powder silo and conveying screw | Feed storage and metered conveying |
Flue gas duct and tail gas duct | A dedicated sealed path for each gas stream |
Wearing parts, one set | Gaskets and seals for assembly and first service |
The sections below follow that list in running order: feed storage at the front, the reactor in the middle, gas treatment at the back.

The feed side comes first. The rubber powder silo buffers the tyre rubber powder the line runs on, and the conveying screw beneath it lifts a steady stream up to the weighing belt conveyor, which meters each increment before the sealed screw feeder carries it into the reactor. Inside the reactor the feed breaks down: oil vapour leaves for the three-stage condensation system and condenses as pyrolysis oil, while the solid residue, carbon black, exits through the 7.5 m slag discharge screw. Its water jacket cools the hot stream so it can be packed straight away. Steel wire left the stream earlier, in the shredding step that reduces tyres to powder.
The reactor also releases gas, handled in two sealed paths. Non-condensable syngas passes the deodorization device, which purifies the tail gas before it returns to the furnace; burned there, it covers most of the running fuel. Flue gas, the furnace exhaust, goes the other way: it drops temperature in the air-cooled cooling box, passes the SCR denitration system for selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides, then the fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) desulfurization tower, and finishes at the wet electrostatic precipitator before the stack.
The 400,000 kcal heavy oil burner covers start-up: it raises the reactor to operating temperature, and once the syngas begins returning to the furnace, the line largely heats itself. The programmable logic controller (PLC) then runs feeding, temperatures and discharge from one panel, and every motor across the DY-C-50 fully continuous tyre pyrolysis plant, from the conveying screws to the slag discharge, is a variable-frequency explosion-proof motor, which lets operators slow the line at start-up and hold a steady feed at full temperature.
The order covered the build as well as the shipment. Reactor plates were rolled from 16 mm Q345R boiler steel and joined by submerged arc welding, welded parts were pressure-tested, and the control cabinet was powered up in the workshop before packing. Parts were then tagged against the installation drawing and checked off against the packing list before the containers closed.
Installation has not started. DOING ECO's engineers will guide the site work, commission the line and train the customer's operators once the site is ready.

A batch pyrolysis plant stops to cool and discharge between runs; the continuous pyrolysis plant feeds and discharges with the reactor turning, holding rated output around the clock.
It burns as fuel oil in boilers, heavy vehicles and industrial burners; uses that need a lighter, cleaner fuel send it through further refining first.
15, 20, 30, 40 and 50 tons per day. The DY-C-50 is the largest, which is why it suits a volume-driven project. If a higher processing capacity is required, multiple units can be connected in parallel.
